Inside look at the opening of new Tiger Woods golf attraction in Orlando

Grab a club and get ready to swing!

Tiger Woods’ new golf entertainment center, PopStroke, is set to open in Orlando. The new location will be in downtown Waterford Lakes and FOX 35’s David Martin got a sneak peek inside ahead of the grand opening on June 13.

First of all, this place is huge! There are two 18-hole putting courses to choose from – designed by Woods and his TGR design team – both offering varying degrees of difficulty. The Black Course is designed for families and golf beginners. The course is also wheelchair accessible. If you want a bit more of a challenge, the Red Course offers challenging hole locations ideal for more experienced golfers.

If you get thirsty along the course, there are beer stands at each hole where you can order drinks through the PopStroke app and have them delivered to you.

There will also be an electronic leaderboard so you can keep an eye on your score. PopStroke will also have an outdoor play area and playground.

The family golf concept was designed to be fun for all ages.

“Some of my happiest memories are hanging out with my pops on the golf course hosting putting contests,” Woods said. “I can’t wait for others to spend time with their kids at PopStroke. It’s a new way for individuals to experience the game of golf. It’s about bringing people together.”

And get this: Unlimited all-day golf will cost you just $25!

Of course, all that golf is sure to whet the appetite. The 13,712 square foot building features a full-service outdoor restaurant with multiple open terraces and covered dining areas with three bars.

And kids will love it: sugar on top is 24 fancy ice cream flavors!

“You know, we’re a place that 68-year-olds on a date enjoy as much as a 12-year-old, a place where 25-year-olds on a date go to really have fun having a few cocktails and enjoy the interactive gaming experience,” Woods partner Greg Bartoli told FOX 35.

PopStroke will be open 7 days a week from 9 a.m. to midnight. More Florida locations are expected to open in the future.
