A tourist attraction is looking for a “chocolate demonstrator” as part of a recruitment campaign for several positions. Cadbury World, a favorite of chocolate lovers, casts the net wide for new staff as it prepares for a busy summer period.
The right person will have a “passion for chocolate” and will need to provide interactive demonstrations to a crowd. They will also meet and greet customers, as well as promote and sell treats made in the production area.
The role, based at the Birmingham site, is a part-time fixed-term contract until December 2022, and you will be part of a team of chocolate demonstrators. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable presenting, demonstrating and public speaking, reports Birmingham Live.

If bringing the magic of Cadbury to life sounds appealing and you’re a chocolate lover, this could be a dream role. The job description reads: “You will act as the first point of contact for all visitor inquiries and serve as a corporate ambassador with a good level of knowledge in all areas of the attraction, seizing opportunities to upsell products and services.
“You will provide information to visitors through presentations and demonstrations, and offer and provide visitors with accurate advice, directions and information about the attraction. You will have excellent social interaction and communication skills. communication and experience working with members of the public.”
Cadbury is owned by Mondelez International (originally Kraft Foods), and its much-loved home in Bourneville, Birmingham, receives over 500,000 visitors each year. The attraction currently has a number of openings from early June to late August to support them during the summer period.
